WE DIDN’T SET OUT TO BUILD ANOTHER BODY CARE BRAND

Let's be honest.

Let’s be honest.

There are a lot of body butters.

A lot of body oils.

A lot of brands talking about hydration, ingredients, softness, self-care, and luxury.

The world did not need another one.

What made Natural Mimosas interesting wasn’t just the products.

It was the feeling behind them.

From the beginning, the vision wasn’t to create something soft, predictable, or easy to scroll past.

It was to create the kind of scent that makes someone stop and ask:

What are you wearing?

The kind of brand that lingers in your mind after you leave the website.

The kind of experience that makes you want to come back before you’ve even run out.

That’s where we started.

Not with the homepage.

Not with the packaging.

Not with a logo.

With a feeling.

WHAT WE SAW

The body care and fragrance space is crowded.

Beautiful brands.

Beautiful packaging.

Beautiful websites.

And somehow, after a while, they all start saying the same things.

Hydrating.

Nourishing.

Clean.

Luxurious.

There’s nothing wrong with any of that.

It’s just not very memorable.

Natural Mimosas needed a reason to exist beyond the product itself.

So instead of asking:

What does the product do?

We asked a different question:

How do we want people to feel when they experience this brand?

That question changed everything.

Because once we stopped treating Natural Mimosas like another body care brand, the real opportunity became obvious.

This wasn’t just about skincare.

It was about scent.

Memory.

Mood.

Desire.

Identity.

The way something can smell so good that it becomes part of how you remember a person, a place, or a moment.

That became the foundation.

what we decided

We made a few decisions early that shaped everything that came after.

Decision One: We would not compete on ingredients.

Most brands were already doing that.

Ingredients still mattered.

Product quality still mattered.

But those things did not need to be the first thing customers saw.

Instead, we chose to compete on emotion, memory, and desire.

The product could explain itself later.

First, we wanted people to want it.

Decision Two: The website would feel like an experience, not a storefront.

We didn’t want someone landing on the homepage and immediately feeling like they had entered another product catalog.

We wanted them to be curious.

We wanted them to explore.

We wanted them to feel something before they ever added anything to their cart.

Decision Three: Every touchpoint had to feel like the same brand.

The homepage couldn’t feel one way while the emails felt completely different.

The product pages couldn’t tell one story while SMS became nothing but discount reminders.

The experience had to follow the customer.

Website.

Email.

SMS.

Campaigns.

Product pages.

Retention.

All of it needed to feel connected.

Once those decisions were made, the rest of the build became much clearer.

WHAT WE BUILT

Natural Mimosas was not built as a collection of random deliverables.

It was built as one connected customer experience.

Website Experience

We developed a multi-page ecommerce experience designed to guide customers from discovery to purchase without losing the personality of the brand along the way.

Included:

● 20+ website pages

● Homepage strategy

● Collection pages

● Product pages

● Mobile experience

● Customer navigation and discovery

● Website banner system

Email & SMS Marketing

The experience needed to continue after someone left the website.

So we created retention-focused communication that carried the same tone, mood, and storytelling into email and SMS.

Included:

● Automated email journeys

● Promotional campaigns

● SMS touchpoints

● Customer nurture sequences

● Retention messaging

● Campaign storytelling

Customer Journey

This was the part that connected everything.

We mapped how customers would move through the brand from first discovery to purchase and then back again.

Included:

● Customer journey mapping

● Retention strategy

● Purchase-path optimization

● Brand touchpoint planning

● Discovery-to-purchase flow

● Post-purchase communication

The shift

Instead of building another skincare brand, we built a sensory experience.

Instead of leading with ingredients, we led with emotion.

Instead of creating a catalog of products, we created a world people could step into.

Every decision moved through that lens.

The visuals.

The website.

The messaging.

The customer journey.

The campaigns.

The retention strategy.

Everything needed to feel connected.

Because the goal wasn’t just to make a sale.

The goal was to create anticipation.

Curiosity.

Desire.

Recognition.

The kind of experience people come back to because of how it made them feel.

BEHIND THE BUILD

One of the biggest questions during this project was whether to position Natural Mimosas as a body care brand or a fragrance experience.

That decision mattered because it would influence everything from the visuals to the messaging to the customer journey.

Once we chose fragrance experience, the rest of the system became much clearer.

WHAT CHANGED

The result wasn’t just a prettier website.

Natural Mimosas gained a clearer way to present, market, and communicate the business.

The brand now had:

a more distinct market position

stronger emotional messaging

better product storytelling

a more intentional e-commerce journey

reusable campaign and banner systems

connected email and SMS communication

a stronger retention foundation

a customer experience that could remain recognizable across channels

The biggest shift was that the business no longer needed every individual product, page, or campaign to explain Natural Mimosas from scratch.

The system was doing that work together.

LOOKING BACK

Natural Mimosas reminded us that people rarely buy products only because of what they do.

They also buy because of what those products represent.

The product mattered.

The scent mattered.

The packaging mattered.

But the real work was creating a feeling strong enough for someone to remember.

And that’s the part we’ll carry into every project moving forward.

Because sometimes the biggest opportunity isn’t making the product better.

It’s finally building the experience that makes people understand why they should care.
